Personal Development Plan
In a personal development plan (Persoonlijk Ontwikkelingsplan, or POP for short), you indicate how you want to develop yourself in the coming period. You set goals you want to achieve and specify how you plan to reach those goals. With a POP, you structure your own learning process for the future in a planned manner, as you want to continue developing yourself.
By specifically working on competencies or your own set goals, you become more proficient in your profession(practice). The goals in a POP are formulated concretely, so it can be determined afterward whether the goals have been achieved.
