Digitalisation is rapidly transforming our society. Governments face the challenge of adapting their public services accordingly. As the Council of State states: “No citizen should be put in a difficult position by a digitalising government.”
In this studio, you work as a student, supported by researchers and professionals, on smart solutions for current issues. Students explore how technology can contribute to accessible, safe and reliable public services.
This starts with understanding the needs of residents: how do their communication styles, identification preferences and ways of conducting transactions differ?
During this studio, the focus is on design-oriented research. Students delve into the practical problems faced by governments, carry out analyses and translate these into solutions.
