Full-Stack Developer Roadmap
This roadmap is a suggested route through the Full-Stack Developer BOKSA, for students in this studio building full-stack web applications with social impact. It runs from the foundational knowledge every full-stack student needs, through the core skills you apply on a project, to a stack of your choosing — with optional, advanced deepening topics branching off the core path wherever they apply.
- node = an article in the profile (or an external codelab)
- checkpoint = you're ready for the next tier
Know the basics
The mandatory, foundational knowledge for the profile. Read these to prepare for a knowledge test — they're reference material, not step-by-step skills.

Data, APIs & security
Quality, requirements & AI
Working together
Apply it on a project
Now that you've picked a stack, apply these core skills on a real project — one connected path from setup to delivery, rather than a separate list per learning outcome. The path forks where the work actually forks (front-end vs. back-end, or parallel review lenses) and merges back once everyone needs the same next skill. Optional advanced topics sidestep off the core path wherever they deepen it — they never lead back into a core node, so you can follow one as far as you like without losing your place on the main route.
