You iteratively and methodically analyze average usage patterns (or estimated usage patterns) of existing or future software, infrastructure, security threats. The goal is to validate, improve, or identify new cloud solutions that align with the target audience and the requirements of a client. You maintain a research-oriented approach and apply relevant recognized standards.Moreover,you provide advice on cloud solutions, providers, and/or infrastructure, substantiating your recommendations based on insights gained from analysis, design, or implementation. Your justification explicitly addresses the (societal) impact of the choices made in your advice. You deliver your recommendations convincingly and use communication methods that suit the target audience.

Level 2 Learning Outcome Analysing and Advising
You investigate issues methodically, identify core problems and advise on solutions with clear substantiation. Success criteria:
- You start your analysis with a clear research question and a conscious choice for your approach
- You demonstrate an inquisitive and critical attitude by questioning the sources you find and AI output
- You identify core problems by distinguishing between main and secondary issues and show awareness of the societal context in which the issue is situated
- You give convincing advice by using clear, well-substantiated arguments
- You consciously adapt your communication to the target group, in both form and language use.
Level 3 Learning Outcome Analysing and Advising
You investigate complex issues methodically, analyse core problems from multiple perspectives and formulate well-founded, convincing advice in which you weigh alternatives and specify consequences. Success criteria:
- You independently determine a research approach that fits the issue and adjust it based on what you encounter
- You demonstrate an inquisitive and critical attitude by questioning sources, AI results, the problem definition and your own assumptions
- You analyse issues from multiple perspectives and consciously weigh societal and ethical consequences
- You formulate a well-founded advice in which you weigh alternatives, identify risks and make a substantiated recommendation
- You consciously adapt your communication to different target groups with differing interests, in both form and language use.
